Overview

The COVID-19 crisis worsened existing economic challenges in many emerging economies, increasing unemployment, poverty, and inequality while exposing vulnerabilities in households and firms. To recover, governments must focus on green, resilient, and inclusive development (GRID) to promote sustainable growth and long-term prosperity. This course highlights the role of infrastructure investment in driving GRID and introduces the G20 Quality Infrastructure Investment (QII) Principles as a guiding framework. Participants will learn how to integrate climate considerations, resilience, and inclusivity into infrastructure design and implementation. By the end of the course, learners will understand how to apply QII principles to strengthen governance and deliver infrastructure projects that support equitable and sustainable development.
