Gender Innovation Lab (GIL) Federation Causal Evidence Series

This series highlights the work of the Gender Innovation Labs (GILs) within the GIL Federation, coordinated by the World Bank Gender Group. Drawing from impact evaluations across nine key areas, the briefs present evidence and lessons on closing gender gaps and advancing women’s economic empowerment. They form a core analytical foundation for the World Bank Gender Strategy (2024–2030), translating research into actionable guidance for policymakers and practitioners.
