This course provides an overview of significant changes in the policy and program environment for population and reproductive health over the past two decades. These changes reflect renewed international commitments to human rights, gender equity, and the recognition of evolving economic, demographic, and epidemiological conditions. The course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for addressing reproductive health in the context of health system strengthening (HSS), budget support for health programs, and poverty-reduction strategies. It focuses on practical applications to help participants navigate complex health systems and integrate reproductive health into broader development frameworks. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to engage effectively in reproductive health work in diverse settings.
