In today’s digital era, geospatial information technology plays a critical role in driving economic transformation and sustainable development. It is applied across multiple sectors, including hazard risk management, transportation, land administration, health services, and urban planning, to solve complex problems. This course introduces participants to innovative geospatial tools and how they are “disrupting” traditional methods of decision-making and service delivery. Learners will explore practical applications of the Integrated Geospatial Information Framework (IGIF) to build resilience and support sustainable development. By the end, participants will understand how to leverage geospatial information for smarter policies, planning, and governance.
