The Africa Skills for Jobs Policy Academy is a capacity-building initiative designed to address the skills crisis and expand access to better jobs across sub-Saharan Africa. It convenes senior policymakers, global experts, private sector leaders, and multilateral representatives to advance skills development as a driver of economic and social progress. A special focus is placed on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a critical pillar for job creation and productivity. Through evidence-based strategies, peer learning, and practical tools, the Academy helps strengthen national skills development systems. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Academy equips countries with the capacity to design and implement effective skills policies.
