Overview

The Agribusiness Leadership Program (ALP) strengthens the business management capacity of small agribusinesses in smallholder supply chains through assessment, training, and coaching. These agribusinesses include producer organizations, agri-retailers, lead farmers, and other agricultural small and medium-sized enterprises (agri-SMEs). ALP offers a blended learning approach, integrating in-person training and coaching with digital learning. The WBG Academy hosts 78 digital learning courses organized into eight learning journeys. Each learning journey takes between 2 and 4 hours to complete. ALP digital learning helps agribusiness leaders, managers, and employees develop essential skills in key topics, including financial management, recordkeeping, business sustainability, marketing, and operations. By completing ALP digital learning, learners will be better equipped to overcome challenges, drive growth, and align their organizations with the new standard for professional farmer organizations created by International Organization for Standardization (ISO 18716).
