This course examines the World Bank’s Sustainable Agricultural Banking Program (SABP), which is funded by  Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and BioCarbon Fund Initiative for Sustainable Forest Landscapes (ISFL). The program aims to promote greater financing of sustainable agriculture by financial institutions in  Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) and BioCarbon Fund Initiative for Sustainable Forest Landscapes (ISFL) jurisdictions. Participants will learn how the program encourages the use of value chain financing to increase support for agri-enterprises. The course highlights how these investments contribute to protecting forests, reducing landscape degradation, and cutting greenhouse gas emissions. By the end, participants will understand how the SABP fosters sustainable agricultural practices through strategic financial support.
