Overview

The EDGE Experts program empowers individuals—architects, engineers, consultants—to become certified advisors in sustainable building design using the EDGE standard. Training is delivered either live (in-person or virtual classroom) or on-demand/self-paced, followed by a formal exam administered in multiple languages. The training covers how to use the EDGE software, quantify the impact of passive and active design choices, and navigate the certification process. Credentialed EDGE Experts influence design decisions, help clients choose cost-effective sustainable systems, and support projects in reaching sustainability targets. This role enhances career potential, helps firms grow sustainable design capacity, and accelerates adoption of green building practices worldwide.
