This series is aimed at practitioners from World Bank client ministries (ministries of energy, finance, industry, environment) and other entities interested in industrial, public and residential energy efficiency. Participants will gain a solid understanding of industrial, public and residential energy efficiency fundamentals, with tailored deep dives. The series also dives into program design, including financing.

Overview

Through this series, participants will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to prepare and implement Bank-financed projects, as well as to scale up and enhance government-sponsored national energy efficiency programs. Foundations: covering key topics on efficiency drivers and benefits, metrics, barriers, policies, and business models. Sectoral Deep Dives: tailored sessions that align with specific priorities and interests of the participants, supported by case studies. Program Design and Implementation: technical sessions on the essential aspects of designing and implementing energy efficiency projects and programs, including business models, economic and financial analyses, measurement and verification, and tools and resources.
