The Climate-Smart Health Systems Collaborative was established to fill the gap in practical, implementation-oriented knowledge on embedding climate resilience into health systems. Recognizing that many governments struggle to access tools and lessons on climate-health integration, the Collaborative fosters peer learning among JLN member and non-member countries. Participants—typically mid- to senior-level officials—share lessons, co-develop tools, and learn from each other under the guidance of domain experts. Priority areas for co-produced knowledge include governance, financing, data & accountability, multisectoral action, community engagement, and service delivery. Ultimately, the Collaborative aims to support countries in integrating climate adaptation, mitigation, and resilience into their health sector planning and advancing Universal Health Coverage.
