This introductory course aims to accelerate progress toward achieving SDG 6 by addressing the barriers that persons with disabilities face in accessing water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services. It provides learners with an understanding of the importance of disability-inclusive WASH for vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities. The course delves into the specific barriers these individuals encounter and how to identify and overcome them. Participants will also learn the steps to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate inclusive WASH programs. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to make WASH services more accessible and contribute to the development of inclusive communities.
