    This course provides an in-depth introduction to the Debt Sustainability Framework for Low-Income Countries (LIC DSF) used by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Participants will learn how to analyze debt dynamics, conduct stress tests, assess debt sustainability relative to country-specific thresholds, and incorporate judgment in evaluating debt distress risks. Through presentations, case studies, and hands-on exercises, the training will also cover debt vulnerabilities related to climate change and domestic debt financing.

It focuses on risk management, strategy formulation, and implementation through interactive workshops, case studies, and exercises led by World Bank debt management experts. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises using quantitative tools to assess risk exposure, conduct scenario analysis, and design issuance plans aligned with debt management strategies.
